Somewhere along my life line of 29 years I came down with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It seemed to appear almost over night and laid me down for days. Having 2 young children under the age of 7 and learning how to manage even my day to day chores was a lesson in patience. Now that we are empty nesters it is easier to stay on top of this constant companion. I quit working a year ago to focus on myself and have been successful in starting and continuing a work out plan at the gym, as well as implementing a healthy diet and adding plenty of relaxing and me time as well. It’s sometimes hard to find the balance with doing so much, sometimes I just feel over whelmed. Mostly I try hard to realize that a year ago I wasn’t able to consistently keep up the pace with such a busy schedule and that even though at times it doesn’t look like I’ve made progress I really have.
