Jerry and I went to OC Great Park today, and rode the OC Balloon for the second time. It was pretty windy and we thought we might not be able to go up, but eventually the wind calmed down and we were able to enjoy a nice afternoon ride.

Jerry looking down while on the gondola. The balloon takes us up to 400 feet.

This photo was taken when we were at the very top of the ride. The parking lot is to the right of the photo.

You can see the parking lot is to the left, the big white building just behind the arrow is where you check in and the grassy area is all new since we went several years ago. The balloon is parked to the lower left hand corner of the park area.

Jerry enjoying one of the new shaded picnic areas they’ve added since we’ve been.

I must say, Pat, that you and Jerry are very brave! It certainly looks like fun to go up in that balloon but scary at the same time!
