It was another beautiful day at Disneyland when my friend Terry and I arrived to explore Pixie Hollow. The sun was out, there were Mickey shaped clouds in the sky and the crowds were minimal.

After months of the entire area being boarded up we were able to glean a glimpse of this much anticipated arrival. In the shadow of the Matterhorn and nestled in the old Ariel Grotto’s area in a grove of trees sat Tinkerbell and her friends new home.

At the base of the entrance’s path on a faux tree hangs a sign announcing you’ve arrived at the meet and greet area. A long winding pathway leads up the Tinkerbell’s small mushroom shaped house. Tink and her friends have made sure there is plenty to look at and listen to during the wait.

Fairy sized houses resting on a bed of moss beside a babbling brook, as well as bronze statues of Tink and her friends are just a few of the fun items along this pathway.

As you get closer to Tink’s house colorful mushrooms and flowers along the offer a visual excitement as to what is to come. See if you can spot the hidden Mickey on the mushroom!

Keeping the magic alive is part of the meet and greet at Pixie Hollow. Tinkerbell and her friends spent many an hour concocting a spell for her guests so that they may shrink to her size to better enjoy meeting her. Because of this shrinking spell the flowers along the pathways appear large as the guests shrink. Tink and her friends play music and talk to the guest during this process to keep away any fears that may crop up!

As we got closer to Tinkerbell and her home we were greeted by 2 of her fairy friends, Irradesa and Rosetta, both of whom were happy to pose for a photo with my friend Terry and I.

I spot Tink and quick as a wink snap a picture of her standing in front of her adorable home!
