As many of you probably already know my girlfriend Pauline and her daughter Valerie drove out from Illinois in June of this year so that Val could start her internship at KNA up in LA after graduating from college with a degree in Interior Design. After her 2 month internship she was hired for a while by KNA until they too suffered the hardships of the economy, losing a few contracts, and had to let a few people go. Having a huge desire and a strong determination to stay in CA, Valerie has come to live with us for a few months while job searching in O.C. Let’s all wish her a dose of BIG luck!
When Valerie was around 9 years of age I flew out to Peoria Illinois for a week long visit to visit the Marincic’s. One of my fondest memories of Valerie was when she give her mom and I a fashion show. My favorite outfit was this little blue dress. Isn’t she adorable here? And my oh my how she’s grown into a gorgeous young woman.
