Another Santa Ana wind, another fence down and a yard full of leaves. Welcome to our Mission Viejo hill top home. It seems yearly when the winds arrive we lose a section of fence. This time is no different. Our next door neighbors to the right have 2 dogs, and of course with part of our fence down they decided to come over and leave us a “present”. Nice.

The wind does such a number on our plants, it’s heartbreaking. My hydrangeas and clematis are hit the worst this year. Even my creeping charlies that I have hanging around the spa were hard hit this time.

At least we were left with a beautiful clear view of the mountains.
