Last summer my girlfriend Carol got her grandaughter an inflatable pool to play in while she was visiting from the Sacramento area. It reminded me of when our kids were little and all the time they would spend in the back yard in their pool and the sprinklers. They used to also have some awesome water guns and ran around drenching everyone with them! Those were the good ole’ days.

Menopause has hit home now big time and I’m in a new phase called “me”. It’s not always a comfortable stage of my life for many reasons which I won’t bore you with. Let’s just say I’m reliving my childhood, hence the pool. Let’s also say if I don’t answer the phone or want to go somewhere it’s because I’m into “me” time! Please take no offense my friends. I’m just savoring and sweating through this stage of my life!
