Surprise suprise! That’s what Jerry and I thought when the 5.4 earthquake came rolling through our town today. I was at my girlfriend Jill’s house sitting on the floor and couldn’t believe how long it lasted. It came on strong with a pause. I watched my girlfriends floor, window, and door wave like an ocean! I tried to call Jerry on my cell phone but was unable to get through due to all the busy circuits. My hubby was working hard at Versadial Solutions when the earthquake came rumbling through. He immediately went on line (USGS) to find out the size and epicenter. Back at Jill’s house, she put the news on to hear the latest updates. According to the internet news this has been the strongest earthquake to hit a populated area of Southern California in more than a decade. Disneyland and California Adventure even shut down their rides temporarily for inspection. So no real news of damage here on the home front. Thankfully.
