I want to give a big shout out to the men in my life. I’ve been feeling quite blessed for some time now because of them. My husband Jerry is the best; he’s always compassionate about what I am going through, whether it be my ongoing health issues or every day life issues. He’s a great listener and has become very compassionate and patient over the years. I could not deal with my life without him. Thank you for everything sweetheart. My 2 boys mean the world to me. Anyone who knows me well knows how much I love kids and how much I wanted children. After all the heartache of our first son Jimmy I thought we may never have children. And then we did. It wasn’t always easy, and looking back on the raising part of them it would be easy to sugar coat things and say all went well. But that is behind us, and I don’t like living in the past. Through and through these 2 sons of ours are such good guys. Any woman would be damn lucky to have them in their lives. They have hearts of gold, they are compassionate, giving of themselves more than they should, and are really intelligent. Each year as I get older I count my blessings for having them in my life. They are my pride and joy and I wish there was a way to let them know more often just how much I appreciate them and love them. So, like I said….Let’s all give a big shout out to the great men in our lives! Horrah!
