My good friend Terry and I had such a wonderful day Tuesday at Disneyland/California Adventure despite the fact that the park was really crowded. There were lines of school buses in the parking lot!
It's true what they say about "Dreams Do Come True At Disneyland". Terry and I were in line waiting to get into DC when we spotted a cast member with a lanyard full of pins. I’ve been trying to trade for a Tinkerbell silhouette pin for a few months now with no luck. It’s one of the hardest pins to come by and no one is willing to part with it for the common pins I had. Since the line was long we had time to talk to her, so I told her about my pin quest. She started saying “Is that the only/last pin you need?” Without looking down she reached into her pocket and pulled out the silhouette pin for me! I was thrilled and gave her a pin hug (after I asked of course!) Throughout the day I traded pins with cast members who for some reason had a bunch of Tinkerbell pins on their lanyards. This never happens! You can see all the pins I got just by trading in the left photo . Terry and I also won a pass for an extra hours stay at DC, though we didn’t use it.

While in DC we got our photo taken with Cinderella. Though I probably already have a photo with her I’m surely not going to pass up an opportunity like this. Terry took his turn too, and we came away feeling like kids all over again! Isn’t that the whole idea of Disneyland? Leave your inhibitions at home peoples!
What a bad girl I was! I jumped a fence down in Paradise Pier and rode the cow, something I never did while being raised on my parent’s 40 acre ranch as a kid.
Disney’s master gardeners have been busy growing grapes at DC, and I want to know where and when the next grape stomping event will be held!
Well, Terry and I are off on another adventure, this time to the heart of ole’ Europe. Leave a comment and I’ll respond when we get back!
